Winter Black is a new species of Clumping bamboo in the fargesia family. 
 
It's canes turn to a dark purple black over time, adding colour and depth to any garden. 
 
Prefers a semi shady to full shade spot. Away from midday sun - this will avoid scorching the delicate vibrant green leaves. 
 
Clumping meaning it won't spread. We recommend allowing 1-1.5m of space for the species
